Classes  

Mage is a basic job in Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin. Jobs provide an archetype for the player which provides abilities and stats that are related to the job. Each job specializes in a combat style, uses different starting equipment, and gain access to special job abilities that make them more effective in combat.

 

Mage Information

Mages can cast Black Magic I spells, and holding down the cast button allows the caster to focus on unleashing stronger tiers of the spell (Fire - Fira - Firaga) without expending any extra MP.

Black Mage Job Unlock  Unlocks the Black Mage job.
 Concentrate Passive  Increases MP recovery limit when casting magic.
 Mage Affinity +15% Passive   Increases mage job affinity.
 Aftershock Combo [Attack Type: Strike] [Element: Earth]

Strike the earth repeatedly with your mace, sending out a shockwave with the last strike that deals earth damage.

Greatly reduces the enemy's max break gauge on impact.

Enemy Weakness Magic Break Damage +6.5% Passive Increases magic break damage dealt when targeting enemy weakness.
Red Mage Job Unlock Partial unlock for red mage. Requires the swordfighter's red mage mastery to completely unlock.
Elemental Vulnerability Resistance +24.0% Passive Increases magic vulnerability resistances.
Normal Attack MP Recovery +6.1% Passive Increases MP recovery from normal attacks.
White Mage Job Unlock Unlocks the White Mage job.
