Weapons in Stranger of Paradise

Equip weapons and armor from the Battle Settings Menu. Changing equipment affects various stats and players can automatically equip the most optimal combination of weapons and armor with a press of a button. Every piece of equipment has a level that determines its stats and the strength of its effects. Deck yourself out in high-level equipment to gain an edge in battle.

 

Stranger of Paradise Weapons

Greatswords

Greatswords are balanced slashing weapons, it is a heavy weapon that requires the use of two hands and Shields cannot be equipped along with this weapon. The Swordsman and Warrior Jobs (Classes) are required to wield this type of weapon.

Maces

Maces are strike weapons that specialize in dealing break damage, it is a light weapon that requires the use of one hand, which can be paired up with a Shield. Attacks with maces are quicker than attacks with greatswords, making maces the versatile weapon for both attack and defense. The Mage and Black Mage Jobs (Classes) are required to use this weapon.

Lances

Lances are pierce-type weapons with a long reach, similar to the greatsword, the lance requires the wielder to use both hands and it cannot be paired with a Shield, it is best used against a large group of enemies since its long reach can trigger AoE attacks to deal damage against multiple enemies. The Lance resonates with the Lancer and Dragoon Jobs (Classes).
